Hey guys,

I've been playing about 1 year. Pretty regular 2-10hrs a day. Lots and lots of practice. I'm 47 yrs old. When I was younger about 20 years ago, I learned the basic chords and a few of my favorite riffs. Lived in Alaska, small town. No one to teach me, so I gave it up. Then last Christmas my wife bought me a acoustic guitar. That set off a fire and I've spent close to 10k in 10 months on equipment and have been really practicing until it hurts almost daily. With all the youtube video's these days learning has become quite enjoyable. I know my timing is poor, and I have some flaws. However I'm a quick study, I can learn solo's like Smoke on the Water, The wall(Floyd), Paranoid(Sabbath), AC/DC stuff in 1 to 2 hours. I can play songs like Dee(Randy Rhoads), and finger pick Dust in the Wind. I also understand a decent amount of Theory. Rock solo's are my favorites and easiest to play. I tried to push myself learning Tornado of Souls by Megadeth, the speed picking part killed me. I attempted to include a 10 minute video of me playing around on my Gretsch. I got this message: A maximum of Zero links are allowed in my posts.

I was hoping to get some advice, maybe see where I would fit in for a Pepper lesson. The video would of showed basically where I'm at.

Looks like I was able to put the video in my Signature.

Tommy A. Take the "https:\\www" out of the link, so just youtube.com/insertvidhere, and there you go. We need to update the sticky on this forum but I don't believe anyone active has the ability to do so, I ran into the same problem, its somewhere in the sticky but needs to be moved to the top.

Awesome guitar btw, and good job for being only a year into it, keep it up man, you'll be a shredding in no time with 2-10 hours of practice a day, wish I could say the same for my practice routine!
