anyone own this unit? seen someone use it? theres one for sale near me for around 150$. is it worth buying?

Hey Ashan. I am not familiar with this unit. I did a Google search and the UK magazine "Guitarist" gave it a pretty good review. It's basically the Rocktron Chameleon rack preamp but in a floorboard. Supposedly has some nice Van Halen type presets.

Got it. Didn't test it yet. I can see that it isn't user friendly compared to newer ones. No worries. I'll take my time with it as long as it give me the sounds I want.

Ashan, I haven't used any Rocktron gear but I do know they sound fantastic and you got that for a bargain. It will sound a lot nicer than a lot of newer gear that is around now. The delay on a lot of newer effects processors sound too sharp to my ears.

There is alot of warmth to older gear.

very little info on the web. i'd like to see how people use this setup their equipment. like if they use external pedals with this and how they rig it etc..
