looks good to me ray, i'd advice to keep practicing at slower tempos till you can get 10 rounds or more up and down the strings accurately without playing any dead notes. that's how i set goals. then you can move on to the next setting on your metronome. hope this helps! keep picking!!

looking really good matgeorge! i have the same problem with the ladders you did. i was told to keep fretting 1st and 2nd fingers on a string while doing ladders on 3 and 4. this is really hard though!!

thanks a load adam. have been doing it for past 4 years(since i found pebbers free videos) and still going on, added sarod picking to my routine recently and economy (following gambale on that. might go into marshall harrison stuff in a "few years" lol). i'm experimenting a lot of picking techniques so it'll all help me hone a new one that's unique to me.

i've played a few guitars but nothing has been close to the playability of a yamaha CPX500ii ray. you should definitely check one out, they've even released a cpxiii recently. i love how easy the neck is.
