Much better! Still a little unsure and faint but much much better! Keep on doing this until all hours of the night!

Try hitting the 1 with an accent (harder).

Now those are 7's, good job my lad. How are you counting them? I like to accent the rhythm on the 1,3 and 5. (basic samba pattern)
"BUMP ba - BUMP ba - BUMP ba ba" , will need to create something similar when getting faster.

hi kyzik,

month ago i used to count them 123 1234.. strictly that pattern. then i noticed that accenting more than the 1st note in a 7 note pattern sounds wrong. it didn't sound like a 7. few guys here including the pebber said what i did didnt sound 7s. so now i go 123 1234 then 1234 123. but taking care not to accent anything other than the 1st note. so after i record it doesn't sound like broken up patterns anymore. worked for me. im guessing working on this for few more months will make me find a few more methods of playing it more effortlessly? after all that's what the goal is. i still have shit timing.

Hey, yeah for sure you will find your own pattern. I should of said aswell that i don't even hum the 2,4,6&7 in my head just that accent pattern on the 1,3,5 but not actually playing those accents. Playing every note same sound. But isn't anything wrong with putting some accents in there, doesn't change it from being 7's :p

Just an exercise, main goal will bring about musicality, perhaps hit us up with a video doing 7's in a melody - even just 3 notes , for example i picked 2nd string (6th fret - F) to 2nd string (9th fret - Ab) then 3rd string (6th fret - Db). I like to make a metronome a drum track. SO many ways to practice man ha.
