When playing for a long time I notice my pick slippering from my grip ...
Pebber I noticed that you use a pick with a grip pad if you will..
I can't find those picks here in Toronto ...
If I send you the money would you ship some of those picks?
Or is it just my fingers that are week??

I used to have the same problem man. For me, the problem was solved when I tried thinking about where the pick was relative to the string and NOT thinking about HOW I was holding the pick.

I saw this video where John McLaughlin hacks his jazz picks with a Swiss Army Knife.

If a pick is made of different material a tool like a dremel wheel might do the trick!

I just got a pm from dansimonin telling me that Pebber uses Dana picks and I can buy them at a store outside Toronto .
He reminded me to brace my index finger with my Midle finger that would help as well...

Im going to check out the dava pics aswell.

A lot of guys famous guys use this jazz III pick.
The problem that I want to resolve is the grip problem and I think that the Dava pick deliveres it very well, specially the gel one.
But as far as sound quality I think that the Vpick is the best option ..

I have a cigarette ashtray filled with just about every guitar pick made. I mostly look for tone, but I agree slippage can be a problem. My current personal favorite for the past couple years has been the Pickboy Pos-a-grip jazz 1.5mm

It's a little heavy...not as light as a jazz III or a Dava, but the tone is superb.

Just my opinion. Give them a try and see if you like them.

while you're at it. try planet waves black ice pick too. might help a bit with slipping.
