Nice video of Mike Stern and Bob Berg playing Chromazone. Being a fan of hard bebop I really like the fusion side since there are very few hard bop guitarists. Berg is one of the foremost Coltrane inspired players, and Mike Stern made some huge strides with Miles Davis - more to follow.

Miles Davis Fat Time - Mike Stern eye opener for me back in the day ... this was also one of the early 5 string bass tunes.

This is a cool vid of Steve Vai, Tony Macalpine(black dude), Dave Weiner(the guy who does the "Riff of The Week" videos) and the bassist Billy Sheehan.
It's 8min long so if you're pressed for time, the fun starts at 2:00min. :)
Enjoy!

Oh man, when I see Billy keep up with Vai and T-Mac, that's fearless! and quite impressive. Macalpine is amazing...his tapped arpeggios are AMAZING. But next to Vai, his tone sounds kind of thin.
Just my 2 cents. This is a BAD ASS vid!!!!

From Australian television...
Paco is dressed like he works at a gas station. John is dressed like he teaches a 10th grade shop class. Al is dressed like he just pulled an all nighter at the disco.
During the interview portion the guy asks Paco how he is enjoying the night life of Australia. To which Paco replies, "Nightlife is beautiful yes."
I bet it was Paco...I bet it was.

It's not really shredding but I really enjoy Justin King if you've ever heard of him:

I'd dress like I worked at a gas station too, if it would make me play as good as him!
Yeah, lol, the guy interviewing probably doesn't understand how much one has to practice to get good... I enjoyed watching them play, thanks!
