hey guys,
currently im studying the double harmonic major modes, and in paticular the ionian augmented #2 (1, #2, 3, 4, #5, 6, 7)
i was just wondering, the chord that can go over this is a major7#5 but could you also say a minormajor7#5? i only ask because i've never heard of that chord before.

also, in the ionian modes we can use the circle of fifths for working out chord progressions, but is there any circles for melodic minors, harmonic minors, and double harmonic major modes?? i keep trying to come up with one but no success as of yet.

any help would be appreciated, Thanks

minormajor7#5 By raising the fifth, I don't believe you have a minormajor7 chord anymore

I don't think I have ever put double harmonic scales like byzantine to much use.

Maybe be&say can shed more light on this.
