From watching, I can see you have definitely dedicated some time to getting these drills down.
Don't worry about "sucking", you are better than me and many others.
Keep doing the drills every day and they will get easier and easier.
Soon your fingers will do what you ask without fighting you, and will practically know where to do by themselves.
I think it would be great to do exactly the same video each month so you can see your progress.
I hope that it would motivate you to keep on practicing and getting better each day.

Excellent Vid.

WOW! Great video!!!!

Man, your left hand looks fine to me. Really good in fact. I say...

But Pebber will tell you my left hand technique is SHIT so don't take advice from me!!!

I work on it every day as well. It's a gradual thing. Like a monk that sits and studies ancient scripture and chants.

What are you looking for? More speed? That will surely come in due time.

KEEP PUSHING IT!!! DON'T EVER STOP!!!!

Great vid

Great to see you, nice work on the video and you have an awesome foundation, keeping a constant pace is important no matter how slow. You are forming lots of good habits thanks for sharing.

Very nice job - video looks clean and the audio is crystal clear! WHat did you use a webcam or reagular video camera or what - What are you running a Mac or Windows 7 or what? I have nothing BUT audio problems with windows 7. My old Win XP did audio without a glitch but Windows 7 is 100% all glitch.

Nice job on the spiders an the forms. Now play the scale in 3rds but play it in triplets.

Thanks for the comments guys! :)

Pebber, I used a regular video camera and I'm using Windows Vista 32bit. It's an older camera that uses tapes, but I didn't record to any, I recorded straight to the hdd. The video certainly isn't HD, but it's decent...:D I plugged it inot the pc via an iLink cable and just used Windows Movie maker, only thing was that the video was like 830MB, so it took over an hour to upload to YouTube, even though it was only 6min long!!! Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Cause Pebber's 30min video is only 180MB.

Ooh, I haven't tried playing 3rds as triplets, must do that now! :)

No you are not doing anything wrong - Windows Movie Maker creates .wmv files which are the industry standard. IN my 12 year long quest for higher resolution and smaller file sizes I found that .mp4's give the highest resolution and a somewhat smaller file size and .flv's give an exremely small files size at the minimal sacrifice of some resolution.... take your pick.

When you perform you don't play to a metronome, unless it's in the studio... so this was as close to performing as I get right now. It basically showed how I keep time, and if you hear any screw-ups, don't worry, I will be practicing to a metronome. :D
