Yeah Pebber, I wasn't really clear in my description.

I play the 5 position system in the 3 keys that Giant Steps is in for the sake of just really hearing the key and burning it into my brain. I consider this Module 3 work

When I play the melody of Giant Steps, it is not in one of your positions ( I just mapped the notes from the Jazz standard book to their exact location on the guitar. ) I consider this Module 7 work. I eventually want to play this melody all over the fretboard.

I am NOT even close to even begin thinking of trying to solo on it. I have a shitload of work to do to just get to the point of making the sheet music sound adequate. I suck at transitioning between chords and I also suck at playing the melody. With that said I look forward to practicing tonight !
