....... are these things serious? has anyone used them? has anyone made something similar out of an old axe and found it useful?

my solution to those is ukulele. if i go on a 1000 mile trip my uke is stretched across me and i work on both left hand and right hand techniques, with metronome, fingerstyle, and picking. The nylon strings are not accurate, but hey better than listening to the shit on the radio.

Oh and I only practice one hand at a time haha
