    Ray1981--

Do you do those stretches he shows where the wrist is bent, and he gently pulls on the wrist with the other hand while pushing down? Perhaps this will help--I have to admit I have not followed PB's advice on this. But now that I think of it, I will rewatch that video on youtube.

    Thanks--

I am very excited to be learning from Pebber. I am fixing some picking problems that plagued me for years. I can see that his excercises will develop all possible string to string movements after any number of notes. He thinks kind of like a mathematician, exploring all the permutations! I just wish I could practice as much as I want to without possibly building up an injury!

    Thaks again, Al

    Greetings--

I had not played since 2004 qpproximately, and started up again April 24th after looking at Pebber's sarod and Kenny Burrel scalpel explanation. After a month, I am noticing a "funny bone" type pain, where the tendon attaches to the lumpy part of the outer part of the elbow.

I am laying off picking for a few days and working on PIMA exercises. Have others had this? I am guessing it is because I had not played in so long and was able to sustain practice for hours and hours with tendons not up to it.

If the pain is common and you can play through it, let me know and I'll get back to plectrum work ASAP.

    Al
