The meta-timer for even more efficient practice time

Hi,

It's a silly little thing that I came up with because I started noticing that after each timed exercise, I couldn't help noodling a bit for 10-100 seconds. So if I would be practicing 15 exercises of somewhere between 5-15 minutes I could easily lose 10-20 minutes of my precious practice time.

So I thought of setting a second timer that is the accumulated time for my planned excersises so I could feel bad more when I started goofing away between exercises. It's been quite helpful so far. Just wanted to share this for people who might have a similar problem

The app Practice Timer keeps up with your time only when you're actually playing. The clock only runs when the speakers pick up the sound of your guitar, so you find out exactly how much time during a given session you're actually practicing.

I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here.

Thanks for the tip. Yes! that does make a lot more sense. I'm thinking of purchasing it.
