14 position question.

On the 14 position system I'm not doing the Hungarian mode because I think it is too dark and not really used in jazz, blues kinda style. Am I right?
This is my second week on the 14 position, I'm on the second position, so far so good.
Cheers.

Hungarian minor is similar to harmonic minor. Joe Satriani uses hungarian minor quite a bit.

Yeah, many guitar players use this scale but in order for you to learn all the 14 positions in major, melodic minor, harmonic minor, Lydian diminished and Hungarian minor all at once is too much information at once.
I will leave it for a later time in my life.
I would rather learn this scales in all 14 positions and all the arpeggios and get all the chord tones under my fingers andleave the Hungarian minor alone, that's my opinion.
That's the path I'm going. Do you have a plan? Iv made my own daily practice routine by watching Pebber Brown's videos, I set some goal that I'm trying to achieve.
We have all the tools, if only we werent so damm lazy sometimes.
Cheers, Hudson .
